they say
that broken crayons
still can colour
I am a kaleidoscope
a rainbow in the stormy sky
Short poems for Long days
they say
that broken crayons
still can colour
I am a kaleidoscope
a rainbow in the stormy sky

There will always be
many shades of grey
that hide themselves
between the darkness
and the light
The ancient gateway
to the medieval town
the Catalonian flag
waves in the breeze
echoing a return to former times

Holiday destination-
I visit the modernist cemetery
to see the resting place
of a hundred people
I never even knew

Ancient stones
worn smooth by countless feet.
Did you find your God
amidst the dogma
and delusion ?

A hazy moon
hangs above the church.
So many prayers
for health and peace
go unanswered.

I will fall asleep tonight
Listening to the rain
And feeling the cool breeze
That ten thousand raindrops
Kindly blew through my window.
Another bus
passes the window
Faces
lost in their own world
their own music
